Black-eyed Susan
The moonlight casts an eerie glow that is both beautiful and mystifying. I love the glow that it casts through the clouds.
I love this picture, because it is so serene. I love the lights in the distance that send a message that night time is coming. It is dusk and yet so much light still is in this picture. The mirrored images of the tree have an added calming affect to me.
I love this picture, because it hints of a road to travel and We all traverse down our own road wondering what is in store for us around the bend. Will it be a wondrous journey or one plagued with pain and sorrow? I have found both to be true and it can be a road we travel alone or one where others join us along the way. As the sun shines between the trees creating shadows and light on the road it reminds me of how we can either view life as in the shadows or see it in the light.
I’ll let this one tell it’s own story. I do love it though!
I love lighthouses. It was so big as compared to when I was observing it from the shore. Only up close do you realize how big it is. That’s what happens in life too. We see our problems and they are like mountains in our minds, but when we step back and allow God to help us we can see them differently. This does not make them any less painful, but it changes the perspective and when you change the perspective you can have a different lens and a more hopeful feeling.
One of my favorite pictures. These orchids remind me of weddings. The white of the petals reminds me of the bride’s wedding dress. The linear symmetry of the orchid petals one after the other reminds me of the processional of the bridesmaids as they join with her. I do think they are quite exquisite!
One of my favorite colors is yellow and it could not look any more beautiful than it does in this rose. Not fully bloomed, but quite close. Very stunning in both beauty and color.
